Workshop in Dodge City!

WOW! Was a fantastic workshop yesterday!Learned so much! Now I know how to use the information for my patrons and myself! Found information I didn't know was there. SO FANTASTIC! GREAT DAY! Education is such a wonderful thing!

Well if I just could get everything to load would be great! Have some good helpers tho! Will keep trying! Education at this old age takes a little! Brain function is slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! But, I clicked mu red shoe heels together, and asked Dorthy and TOTO to help! lol!

Face book and 23 things

Been working on my facebook today, was fun but also frustrating. I transferred from my son his video, and finally got it to work, my fault and then caught on, but pulled an album from my daughters facebook and it took and placed on mine her whole page, I only wanted the pictures. Also I've been practicing putting pictures on, and I put a bunch on the wall, but I wanted them in the albums. What did I do? HELP!

What a day!

Off for a busy day! Cleaning a hunters cabin this am, working at library this afternoon, and packing for car show tomorrow! Just wanted to check in, and am wishing all a wonderful Friday! Also hope everyone has a good weekend! Hugs to all!

What a thought! Libraries when we need HELP!

Hey gang! Was watching some news as I was doing laundry, and just a few minutes ago I heard a lady speaking of Haiti. There are 35 libraries in Haiti, and their group she represents, was hoping that some are able to get to the libraries, and they could use the internet to communicate to family as well as get help! I guess we should realize that, but we are so use to our own world, we don't think about our library system being world wide! What would we do in a disaster? Would we think of getting to surrounding libraries to get help? What a thought!?( THEY USE THE SKY FOR THEIR INTERNET!)

Our Military Children

I have children involved in the military. A friend just called, and her son is enroute the war front. I hope I was a support to her and hers. May we all keep our soldiers and there families in our hearts and mind. Our Soldiers give so much, as well as there little families give so much. So may times while the adsent parent is deployed the other mate has to continue to take charge, and raise the children and make so many decisions. All the while keeping the spirit for the family, waiting for the return. We can only hope it won't be long til their return. As well as what the soldier is going thru realizeing they can't be there when they are needed! What a tough situation!

Morning All!

Haiti in the news today! My heartfelt thoughts are with them all! Also to all of the helpers trying to get in. And the families of the people. This thought is with you!
With seeing some of the photos, can't help but think of some of the other disasters across the world, and of the disasters of terroism as well. Bless them all. Please give each a few minutes of silent thoughts for each today! Hugs to all!

Who would have dreamed!

Who would have dreamed to be a Mother of four plus, Grandmother of ten, having a wonderful
librarians job ( a dream come true!) and being married to a wonderful man, all at the age of fifty!
And its even better, achieving an education all at the same time. Thanks to my family, friends, co-workers, and 23 things Kansas. So excited! I did my first blog! Yay!
